About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Performs advanced programming logic for new or existing solutions software or applications.
• Works directly with the design team to understand overall specifications and requirements for software and applications.
• Possesses technical, professional, and regulatory knowledge to resolve medium to highly complex situations.
• Performs diverse assignments requiring in-depth analysis and problem solving.
• Independently applies Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles into assigned work and collaborates on SDLC enhancements.
• Engages in the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC).
• Collaborates with vendors to understand technologies and provide input for solution innovations.
• Researches and evaluates new and/or alternative solutions and technologies to improve operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
• Handles installation, configuration, development, workflow design, monitoring, and upgrades of software products.
• Participates in design reviews and development documentation, making recommendations for improvements.
• Performs unit, application, and system integration testing; debugs and resolves issues.
• Implements development regression testing concepts.
• Advises lower-level staff on development of test cases.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots production system issues to resolution.
• Provides guidance to lower-level staff on resolving production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years' experience in programming, software development, or related area.
• Advanced problem solving and resolution skills.
• Intermediate technical/professional knowledge and skills.
• Ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, communicate effectively, and problem solve.
• Requires prolonged sitting and use of office equipment such as computers and telephones.
• Infrequent lifting to 15 pounds, occasional stooping, and occasional travel for trainings or conferences.

Nice to Have

• Strong expertise in OCR/IBML and OnBase preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (preferred).
