About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-level software applications and functionalities.
• Perform requirement gathering and analysis.
• Develop and analyze application design, including preparing functional specification documents and technical design documents with suitable architectural decisions for complex business requirements.
• Review architecture and design artifacts and estimate efforts for each requirement, including creating logical & sequence diagrams, use case diagrams, architecture and deployment diagrams.
• Install, configure, host, and support applications from web and application servers.
• Support UAT, defect review, follow-ups, and test developed applications for bugs and issues.
• Automate application builds and generate deployable files as well as database scripts for database changes.
• Manage application development life-cycle and generate customized reports.

Requirements

• Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any Branch), Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Software Developer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related position.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, JSP.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Tomcat server management.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and Kubernetes.
• Experience or domain knowledge in Insurance and Finance sectors.

Nice to Have

• Experience with requirement gathering and analysis for enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of application architecture and deployment strategies.
• Experience supporting and automating application deployment processes.
