About the Role

As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you will resolve problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will help create impactful systems from vision to production, using your passion for learning new tools and techniques. The role involves developing, testing, debugging, and enhancing software, considering current architecture and future needs, and working closely with clients and technical staff to overcome challenges and improve systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop codes, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
Leverage understanding of business applications, user requirements, performance, quality, interface, and security needs.
Work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems.
Respond to customer complaints and suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Assist in the development of software user manuals.
Assume responsibility for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, and integration with standard software packages.
Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies, and automate application and configuration deployments and updates.

Requirements

10+ years of experience with software development.
Experience with data modeling and schema design.
Experience with object-oriented programming, including Java and Python.
Experience with containerization, including Podman, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Ability to develop and deploy services on Cloud platforms, including AWS.
Ability to process and ingest large scale data using Apache Spark.
Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree.

Nice to Have

Experience with developing ETL and ELT pipelines with Apache Nifi and Databricks.
Ability to perform message queuing and real-time streaming with Apache Kafka.
Ability to perform Scala programming.

Qualifications
