About the Role

Segue Technologies seeks a mid-level Software Developer to join our team as part of a project providing Data Management and Web Development support for a customer at Scott AFB (Scott Air Force Base) in O'Fallon, IL. This is a full-time position. Work will be performed both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Perform development work for web page and web service requirements and apply agile development methodology experience, including development, testing, and deployment
Perform tuning of hardware, software, and interfaces with outside systems
Analyze problems and information to be processed
Define problems and develop system requirements and program specifications
Provide functional data support for the operational community
Ensure that design and development is aligned with standards
Troubleshoot and correct production issues
Collaborate with team members throughout the development process to ensure best practices and design a scalable analytics infrastructure and data transformation/aggregation processes
Additional tasks as required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Systems, Engineering, or another technical field or related major
4+ years of software development/programming experience
2+ years of rapid/agile web development and support using Java, Eclipse IDE, HTML, JavaScript, cascading style sheet (CSS), and Junit
Experience with Fortify static code analysis and DISA STIG compliance procedures
Experience working with Object-Oriented Design
Current CompTIA Security+ certification
Active Secret Security Clearance
Ability to work without direct supervision and in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
4+ years of software development experience
2+ years of experience with web development tools and languages
Security+ certification
Active Secret Security Clearance
