Software Developers- Information Management & Communications (Associate, Experienced, Senior)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the overall Ground Segment Architecture.
• Develop software design, coding, and unit/integration testing of features/user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop scalable and resilient front and backend solutions using cloud technologies.
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software pipelines and tools.
• Assist with the ground segment sell-off approach including testing tools, laboratories, and simulators.
• Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.
• Drive team training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing of overarching system.

Requirements

• Ability to acquire a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (Post-Start).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in software development languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Familiarity with database solutions (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with commercial Cloud Providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.
• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Node.js, C#).
• Proficiency in frontend programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux).
• Experience with DevSecOps practices such as CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab Runners).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and frameworks.
• Experience in data fusion techniques and data integration.
• Familiarity with creating and maintaining a Common Operating Picture.
• Experience in integrating Open API interfaces for interoperability.
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering principles and tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in relevant fields (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience with cloud technologies and software development languages.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.
