The Adobe Analytics platform processes 20+ billion transactions daily and delivers reporting data worldwide. The Adobe Analytics team seeks a dedicated Software Engineer to develop reliable, high-performance, scalable solutions for enterprise customers, especially handling Big Data.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain high-performance scalable solutions for customers processing Big Data.
Optimize and test existing software to enhance and improve performance, functionality, and usability.
Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, bug fixing, and operations.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to help define and implement requirements for backend services, components, and interfaces.
Own development for features of large highly complex projects and apply knowledge to implement architectural and feature specs to drive customer success through delivery of high-quality code.
Write complete functional specification and documentation.
Estimate schedules, breaking tasks down to reasonable 1-3 day tasks.
Write, test and document well-structured code against designs which scale and perform well for customers worldwide.
Identify outside technologies and know when to use them. Make recommendations for system and process improvement.
Invest time and energy to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science and 3+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent.
Demonstrated mastery in software development and debugging.
Proficiency in Java, C++, Scala, Mongo or equivalent.
Experience with Linux, Git, Kubernetes.
Experience with Big Data, streaming technologies, SaaS based environments, Web Analytics.
Ability to quickly learn and apply complex subjects and technologies.
Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate initiative and high self-motivation.
Enthusiastic, creative and positive attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Highly collaborative working style.

Nice to Have

Experience with streaming technologies and SaaS environments.
Knowledge of Web Analytics.

Qualifications

Educational background in computer science or related field.
Professional experience in software development.

Benefits & Perks

Competitive salary range of $93,200 -- $170,600 annually, varies by location and experience.
Potential eligibility for long-term incentives such as equity awards.
Additional incentives may include short-term incentives and sales commissions for applicable roles.
