Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers within the team and partner with others across the business to develop solutions for lifecycle management using the latest technologies
- Be passionate about modern technologies and advocate for innovative approaches to existing systems or work practices
- Be a mentor that enables team mates to grow and succeed
- Partner with product management, engineers and customer teams to capture requirements, plan feature delivery and deliver on designs and implementation
- Lead and facilitate team design and solution discussions
- Work as part of an agile software team to ensure engineering principles and quality are a core component of feature delivery
- Contribute ideas for continually improving the designs and scalability of the products and services delivered
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in software development with 5+ years of hands-on experience in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, or Ruby
- 5+ years of developing and deploying applications within a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong proficiency in at least one infrastructure-as-code or deployment automation tool (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Harness)
- Solid understanding of and experience working with agile methodologies
- Experience working with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Atlantis, etc.
- Full-stack development experience in large, distributed systems
- A strong drive to optimize and automate processes, coupled with sound judgment regarding implementation
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience leading features and their design through all stages of development and support
- Prior experience as a Scrum Master
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience driving technological improvements within a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to Have
