The role involves configuring, developing, maintaining, and supporting Micron and third-party applications, creating and analyzing software specifications, and supporting software throughout the development life cycle. The position requires demonstrating technical skills across various development technologies to provide optimal solutions and participate in quality improvement efforts. The role may offer part-time telecommuting options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, develop, maintain, and support Micron and third-party applications.
  • Create and analyze software specifications.
  • Research, design, document, modify, and support software throughout the development life cycle.
  • Demonstrate the functional and technical skills necessary to switch between development technologies and merge them to provide the best solution.
  • Create quality software and participate in quality improvement efforts.
  • Provide solutions that create business value while minimizing negative impacts such as defects, downtime, or performance degradation.

Requirements

  • Software development experience.
  • Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming.
  • Understanding of Software Architecture.
  • Experience with Development Operations (DevOps) and IT Operations (ITOps).
  • Knowledge of Databases and SQL Programming.
  • Familiarity with Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server.
  • Experience with Shell Scripting and Batch Scripting.
  • Understanding of System Architecture and Design.
  • Knowledge of Messaging Queues.
  • Experience with Middleware Administration.
  • Understanding of Load-Balancing.
  • Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
