About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic web solutions by leveraging expertise in JavaScript and applying skills in Ruby or Python to enhance application versatility
• Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, employing Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and scaling processes
• Construct and evaluate complex data structures and algorithms, orchestrating distributed systems for optimal performance and reliability
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) strategies and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, adhering to agile methodologies for swift and efficient product iterations
• Secure web applications by integrating best security practices and conform to regulatory compliance standards to safeguard user data
• Communicate effectively within cross-functional teams to design and synthesize collaborative solutions, and coordinate collective efforts towards common project goals
• Solve intricate technical problems with innovative thinking, formulating original solutions that push the technological envelope for software engineering
• Create, refine, and debug features within Zoom's Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), enhancing the platform's usability and feature set
• Ensure and enforce the security and compliance of Zoom's web applications, vigilantly protecting against vulnerabilities and aligning with industry compliance requirements

Requirements

• Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related, a related field, or a foreign equivalent
• Must have 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
• Must have 2 years of experience in React, Node.js, Modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Must have 2 years of experience in understanding React fundamentals: components, JSX, state management, and lifecycle methods
• Must have 2 years of experience in Responsive and Adaptive Design for creating interfaces that adapt to different screen sizes and devices
• Must have 2 years of experience in Service Workers and Offline Functionality for implementing offline support and caching strategies
• Must have 2 years of experience in Performance Optimization, including data fetching, minimizing bundle size, lazy loading, and code splitting
• Must have 2 years of experience in State Management Tools like Redux or Context API
• Must have 2 years of experience in Testing and Debugging using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
• Must have 2 years of experience in Security Best Practices relevant for PWAs dealing with service workers and data caching

Nice to Have

• Experience with Ruby or Python for backend development
• Experience working in agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud infrastructure beyond AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or a foreign equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
