Software Development Engineer II

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform feature analysis, research, requirements gathering, feature design, implementation/coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of products.
• Participate actively in all aspects of the Scrum workflow, including Scrum ceremonies.
• Design, troubleshoot, conduct code and design reviews, and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, analysts, QA engineers, and other team members to develop elegant solutions.
• Assist in gathering and creating feature specifications, requirements documents, and design documents.
• Perform designing, coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Work on intermediate-sized components such as faxing subsystems, microservices, or functional processing areas.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships within the Scrum team and other departments.
• Work directly with the Support department as needed to assist with their areas of ownership.
• Act as a technical expert for different subsystems and participate in mentoring and coaching team members during design and code reviews.
• Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or a related occupation.
• Experience with software engineering tools and applications such as Visual Studio 2019, .NET Framework 4.x, .NET Core, XAMARIN, React, AZURE, AWS.
• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Hands-on development experience with Windows, web, and database technologies.
• Knowledge of software systems and programming languages such as Series 1 Assembler, MASM, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, T/SQL, VB.NET, SQL, JSON, XML, Win Forms, Web APIs.
• Experience in object-oriented software design and implementation.
• Experience with scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience in networking, distributed systems, asynchronous, and concurrent programming.
• Experience building enterprise applications and/or distributed systems in the cloud or on-site.
• Professional services experience in .NET development and project implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
• Three (3) years of relevant experience
