About the Role

ART19 is a leading audio platform, providing cutting-edge tools for on-demand hosting, distribution, ad serving, and audience measurement. The company powers hundreds of millions of podcast downloads every month for the industry's largest shows, enabling publishers to manage content and ad operations with advanced targeting, seamless platform integration, and infrastructure to enhance revenue opportunities. ART19 also offers targeted ad marketplace services across a broad pool of podcasts, including popular shows and major networks. The role involves working within a team to develop and improve software solutions that address complex problems in the podcast ecosystem, with a focus on quality, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Use technology to solve complex problems across the podcast ecosystem, collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Improve and build new tools, services, and applications from conception to deployment.
Design, develop, and deliver software solutions while maintaining high code quality standards.
Engage with stakeholders on planning and communication of project deliverables.
Troubleshoot and research root causes of issues, resolve defects, and communicate effectively during incidents.
Participate in an on-call rotation within the team as needed.
Write and review code, architect new features, and solve technical challenges within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience, including design or architecture of systems.
High fluency in Ruby on Rails and RubyGems.
Experience building automated tests using RSpec.
Experience using Active Record for database interaction and data modeling.
Experience building and scaling RESTful APIs, familiarity with JSON:API specification.
Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
Knowledge of patterns such as MVC, Mocking, and Object-Oriented Programming.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and design teams.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD for continuous integration and delivery.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code, specifically using Terraform.
Experience utilizing AWS services for application deployment.

Nice to Have

Experience with ads domain knowledge.

Qualifications

2+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
Experience with automated testing, API development, and cloud infrastructure.
