About the Role

Amadeus is the leading technology provider to the travel industry, present in over 190 countries, powering various travel-related solutions from airlines to hotels. The role is based in Istanbul, one of Amadeus's strategic engineering hubs, working with multinational teams to shape the future of travel. The position involves working within Airline IT Offer Engineering / Pricing Optimization & Distribution, focusing on solutions for airline sales and distribution through retailer networks, including NDC aggregators and airlines, with a key emphasis on the Nevio platform and industry-changing NDC standards.

Key Responsibilities

Display excellent technical knowledge on Java technology with background on development and maintenance part of SDLC
Troubleshoot, debug, and implement solutions quickly
Participate in maintenance activities and bug fixing

Requirements

Proficiency in Java and Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) technologies, including Spring and related frameworks
Good analytical skills with high levels of curiosity
Ability to research emerging technologies, adopt new methods, and drive innovation
Recognized as a subject matter expert in the full software development lifecycle
Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English
Strong team player with a collaborative and inclusive approach
Comfortable working within a multicultural and international environment
Highly proactive with a positive, 'can-do' attitude
No restrictions on international travel

Nice to Have

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience with multithreaded applications

Qualifications

Experience with Java and Java EE technologies, including Spring
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus
Experience with multithreaded applications is a plus
