About the Role

We are Fiserv, a global leader in Fintech and payments, moving money and information in a way that moves the world. We connect financial institutions, corporations, merchants, and consumers to one another millions of times a day—quickly, reliably, and securely. Our role involves enabling seamless financial transactions such as credit card swipes, mobile payments, and bank withdrawals. We are seeking a dedicated Software Developer in Test to join our team as a Senior Consultant, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products through automation and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Understand project strategy and requirements (both functional and non-functional)
Recommend automation and non-functional tools to aid manual testing efforts
Define automation coverage for work items under test
Drive technical conversations that bridge the gap between QA and Development groups
Set up, rollout, and maintain test automation frameworks for mobile, web, and back-end systems
Enforce compliance on automation standards through review and approval of PRs
Support in executing manual exploratory tests and document results in a Test Closure Report
Report issues in JIRA for work items under test

Requirements

5+ years of experience with testing fundamentals, defect management, and their corresponding tools
5+ years of experience with programming languages and development tooling with Kotlin, Swift, C#, Typescript/Javascript, Android Studio, Xcode, Visual Studio, Jetpack Compose, Swift UI, or React
5+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including designing complex pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, yaml
Understanding of how production code works, including its interaction with different components
Experience with setting up, rolling out, and maintaining test automation frameworks for mobile, web, and back-end systems with tools like Espresso, XCTest, Junit, XUnit, Playwright, k6, pact
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent military experience
Keep current with the constantly changing technology industry and a passion for testing, development, and design

Nice to Have

Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
Expertise in Pact Contract Testing
Experience in testing financial applications
