Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
  • Supporting the development of mission-critical ground software solutions for government and commercial customers.
  • Collaborating with teams to develop innovative features that enable faster, clearer, and more efficient decision-making for executive leaders.
  • Supporting existing programs and research projects with software development skills.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of open architecture, cloud computing design, and security principles.
  • Proficiency in software development using Java or C#.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cloud environments.
  • Experience integrating software components via machine-to-machine interfaces (e.g., RESTful APIs, ActiveMQ).
  • Understanding or proficiency in application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Background developing, debugging, and testing web applications and web services.
  • Experience with ELK stack (Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash).
  • Experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.

  • Experience level: Experienced Professional.
