About the Role

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to help deliver solutions. Using your software engineering knowledge, you'll work with and learn from the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. Key Responsibilities

Identify potential risks in systems and contribute to solution development.
Create efficient and effective systems for clients using architectural approaches and open-source frameworks.
Work with the development team to develop custom tools, systems, and sites with performance and scalability in mind.
Use software engineering skills to deliver mission-focused solutions.

Requirements

Experience using Java to build enterprise products and applications.
Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) software patterns to ingest large and complex datasets.
Experience with Git and GitLab CI/CD.
Experience working in a team environment.
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 6 months of hire date.

Nice to Have

Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j.
Experience with AI or ML pipelines and processes.
Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus.
Experience with containerized environments such as Kubernetes.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Experience building real-time data processing applications using streaming libraries such as Kafka Streams.
Knowledge of analytic platforms such as Kafka or Spark.
Possession of excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Ability to obtain Security+ Certification within 6 months.
