Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and validate web applications using ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS, JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming, CSS, and MongoDB.
• Connect with the product team to discuss requirements and provide appropriate solutions to help improve business.
• Conduct weekly requirement grooming discussion meetings with the product team and designers.
• Participate in code reviews with other team members to ensure quality code is being delivered.
• Create production pull requests.
• Develop frontend User Interface (UI) components using ReactJS.
• Develop reusable ReactJS components.
• Develop database queries using Application Programming Interface (API).
• Develop API services using NodeJS and MongoDB.
• Develop frontend architecture model for 7NOW admin portal application.
• Use various technologies and processes such as Redux, TypeScript, Webpack, NPM, AWS S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, Docker, Async/Await, Promises, and Callback patterns, relational database Postgres, and non-relational database MongoDB.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in web application development using JavaScript, Object Oriented Programming, ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, CSS, NodeJS, Webpack, NPM, AWS S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudFront, Docker.
• 4 years of experience working with Async/Await, Promises, and Callback patterns.
• Experience working with relational database Postgres and non-relational database MongoDB.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role, including from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Engineering, IT) with corresponding years of experience.
