About the Role

The Software Engineer will develop scalable futuristic solutions and system architecture to address new business models and business challenges, contributing to digital transformation initiatives. The role involves collaborating on multi-functional projects, analyzing internal processes and data, and enabling new capabilities through emerging digital and cloud technologies within Cisco's IT and commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable solutions and system architecture to support new business models and challenges.
Collaborate on multi-functional projects to identify areas for improvement.
Analyze internal processes, data, and problems to identify benefits from enabling new capabilities using digital and cloud technologies.

Requirements

Masters 12+ years experience OR Bachelors with 15+ years experience in Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
7+ years hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE programming.
5+ years of building large-scale systems using fault-tolerant technologies such as ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and Kafka.
10+ years experience with deployment, continuous delivery, infrastructure management, software quality assurance, including documentation, unit testing, test automation, security analysis, and code reviews.
10+ years experience in building APIs and User Experiences using Java and Angular.

Nice to Have

5+ years experience in working with Commerce applications.
AI/ML Knowledge.

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Engineering or a related field with significant experience.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Angular, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Kafka.
Experience with large-scale system deployment and infrastructure management.
