About the Role

Object Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking multiple positions for Software Engineers to design, develop, and modify data and software applications using a variety of modern technologies. The company is based in Overland Park, KS, and requires travel to client sites across the United States as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Data Warehouses using Hadoop (CDH or CDP), ETL, Data Modeling, Apache Kafka, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, AWS S3, AWS Redshift, Kubernetes, Docker Containers, and Databricks.
Design, develop, and modify software/system applications using Microservices, J2EE, Java Spring Boot, Struts, JavaScript, Jython/Python, MongoDB, Selenium, PL/SQL, UiPath, Apache Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
Travel to unanticipated employer/client sites within the United States for requirements gathering, technical troubleshooting, and project implementation.

Requirements

Master's (or foreign equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Technology, Science, or IT-related area with at least 1 year of experience involving the listed technologies.
Alternatively, Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) degree in the same fields with at least 5 years of progressive experience involving the listed technologies.
Willingness to travel for less than 30 days a year to customer locations across the United States.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant technical field with at least 1 year of experience, or
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with at least 5 years of experience.
