About the Role

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer with Active TS/SCI with Polygraph to support our customer's mission-essential applications within an Agile Team. The role involves developing, deploying, and supporting Python web-based applications hosted on cloud computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy new code and efficient software solutions.
Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality and reusable code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application, including performance optimization and error handling.
Work on a Greenfield project to modernize and reimagine, rather than merely recreate a legacy system.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of software development experience, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Minimum 1 year of experience developing on Linux operating systems.

Nice to Have

Developed software that leveraged AWS services, such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, OpenSearch, etc.
Written and deployed AWS Lambda functions.
Understanding of AWS networking and security groups.
Working knowledge of CI/CD toolchains.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECR.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
