Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work on core backend systems impacting various platforms such as API, messaging, personalization, sign-up, partnership, payments, and billing.
• Analyze user needs and design software solutions to meet those needs.
• Contribute to scalable, highly available, complex distributed systems.
• Utilize object-oriented programming to craft efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
• Work independently to drive features or components throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements to production launch.
• Ensure software continues to function normally through maintenance and testing.
• Develop, debug, test, and operate APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-based services.
• Design application or system components and plan how they will work together.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and maintaining backend systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Ability to design and work with distributed systems and cloud-based services.
• Experience working independently and managing features throughout the development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
