About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software engineer who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and embraces constant learning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to work independently while also enjoying collaboration within a team. This role involves developing software across various stages of the software development process, proposing and implementing innovative solutions, and utilizing Windows and Android operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

Implement Command and Control development and Auxiliary Applications.
Integrate software across systems.
Enhance functionality of existing systems by implementing additional tools.
Instruct external teams, plan tools, and support the testing team (SQA).
Document development and code creation according to required standards.
Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, mechanical engineers, and integration personnel.
Participate in trials, performance testing, and software reviews.
Create versions, control the development pipeline, update ICDs, and engage in software architecture and design activities.

Requirements

Proficiency in C# with at least 8 years of experience.
3+ years of experience in developing WPF applications using MVVM.
Experience in developing interfaces with network protocols such as UDP/RS232/TCP-IP.
Experience with .NET Core.
Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
In-depth knowledge of programming principles and best practices.
Ability to understand system-wide design.
Experience in multithreading, video player and streaming (H.264/265), and Publish/Subscribe models.
Good interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to Have

BS in Computer Science/Programming or equivalent.
Experience and core knowledge of .NET Core/Java.
Experience in developing Android/iOS applications.
Knowledge of advanced C2/C4I systems.
Experience with MIL standards and other regulations.
Defense systems experience.
Traceability and Wireshark experience.
JIRA experience.
Ability and willingness to travel to Israel 1 to 2 times a year.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science/Programming or equivalent.
