Key Responsibilities

Create web applications using languages such as Python, PHP, or Ruby.
Conduct design and code reviews.
Develop maintainable and testable code bases including API design and unit testing techniques.

Requirements

Requires a graduate-level course, research project, or internship involving coding in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, or C#.
Experience with creating web applications using Python, PHP, or Ruby.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Experience with object-oriented software development.
Proficiency in coding in Java.
Familiarity with software development tools such as code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce).
Experience working with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems including file manipulation and simple commands.
Knowledge of core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
