About the Role

This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days. Redfin is revolutionizing the $75 billion real estate industry by using data, beautiful software, and innovative design to prioritize customers throughout the home-buying and selling process. The role involves working on the TREX team, which builds tools for experimentation, testing, and personalization to drive user growth and retention, including maintaining Redfin's A/B testing framework and supporting content orchestration and segmentation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Help develop and scale the platforms that power product experimentation and personalization at Redfin.
Shape how teams test ideas, ship features, and measure impact.
Build and maintain data pipelines and APIs to support experimentation and personalization.
Develop scalable applications backed by relational and non-relational databases.
Create internal tooling to support platform reliability, observability, and self-service.
Collaborate with product and analytics partners to enable rapid experimentation.
Contribute to A/B testing infrastructure and feature rollout tools.

Requirements

At least 2+ years of experience building scalable systems or data platforms.
Familiarity with our tech stack: Java, Python, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Airflow, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Experience building internal tools for data quality, monitoring, or automation.
A collaborative, curious mindset and interest in helping teams move faster.
Passion for empowering others through great platforms and tools.

Nice to Have

Experience with data pipelines and APIs.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and container orchestration.
Experience working in a customer-centric, collaborative environment.
