Job Description

About the Role

As a Technical Services Software Engineer, you will join our dynamic team and be at the forefront of software customization projects and the implementation of Spectrum ADP solutions. You will engage in the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to successful installation, collaborating closely with our Technical Services Business Analyst and Manager to ensure project timelines are met. The role involves developing custom reports, implementing database objects, analyzing business data, and proactively communicating project progress to stakeholders. This position is based in a hybrid work environment across Lake Oswego, OR, Westminster, CO, or Portsmouth, NH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom Crystal Reports, SSRS reports, and dashboards.
  • Implement database objects such as procedures, functions, and triggers, and write complex SQL queries and TSQL scripting.
  • Analyze business data relationships and develop ProIV screens.
  • Proactively communicate project progress to stakeholders, ensuring timely and quality solutions for customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, and/or accounting, with a minimum of two years of custom programming experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong SQL knowledge, including queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with JavaScript, C++, or C#, and Crystal Reports.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting/payroll systems, or construction accounting software.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with ProIV, XML, and various types of databases.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
