As a Software Engineer on the Server Driven UI Platform team, you will build foundational pieces in our Android and Backend SDKs, including runtime Kotlin libraries and development tools. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and engineering managers across the organization to deliver impactful initiatives. You must be located in one of the specified cities: San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, or New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Build foundational components in Android and Backend SDKs, including runtime Kotlin libraries and development tools.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and engineering managers to deliver large and impactful initiatives.
Help shape and improve engineering culture within the team.
Create and implement industry best practices for Kotlin and Golang development.

Requirements

4+ years of Front-end client development experience.
Expertise in Android development using Kotlin and Compose.
Experience with other Server Driven UI systems.
Backend development experience using Golang, Kotlin, and Protobuf.
A product mindset applied to building platform services.
Strong interest in systems, software, and working with people.
Curiosity and ability to dive deep into system architectures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience working with Kotlin and Golang in production environments.
Familiarity with Intellij and Cursor-based development tools.
Previous experience in a platform or SDK development role.

Qualifications
