As a Software Engineer Associate within PNC's Retail Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Assists in the development, testing, and implementation of software solutions.
Assists with designing software solutions.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to application development, design, and testing.
Experience or familiarity with application design, architecture, development tools, maintenance, testing, and system development life cycle.
A university/college degree with less than 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
Basic understanding of customer-focused solutions and risk management practices.
