Key Responsibilities

Management and development of the team
Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development
Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program

Requirements

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance. Must be a US Citizen
Must have strong leadership skills
Must have strong design experience/skills
Must have a background in embedded C++
Must have hardware/software integration experience
Must have excellent communication and teaming skills to work with multiple disciplines

Nice to Have

Understanding of modern US defense systems specifically focused on EO/IR and laser systems
