About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Denim, you will be responsible for building the critical infrastructure to process transactions, developing internal automation tools to streamline payments, and implementing the underlying functionality for features that our clients love. You'll be enhancing existing functionality and solving new problems as the company continues to scale and grow. Denim is a remote-first company focused on advancing the supply chain through fintech and AI-powered systems, fostering a culture of belonging and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Build the critical infrastructure to process transactions.
Develop internal automation tools to streamline payments.
Implement the underlying functionality for features that clients love.
Enhance existing functionality and solve new problems as the company scales.
Support, monitor, and deploy applications to ensure reliability.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex business problems.

Requirements

Deep experience building and scaling large applications, preferably using Elixir and React.
Experience working with B2B software products, particularly in the freight, logistics, or finance industries.
Strong ability to create clean, maintainable, and high-quality products.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
Comfort supporting, monitoring, and deploying applications.

Nice to Have

Experience with event-driven architectures and eventual consistency.
Interest in solving complex, concurrent, and distributed problems.
Ownership of platform features and capabilities in a high-growth startup environment.

Qualifications

Experience with Elixir and React.
