Software Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the SAP Technical Implementation lifecycle including process analysis, design input, understanding of functional requirements, creation of technical specifications, code development, test script creation, unit testing, execution of code reviews, and associated documentation.
• Design and develop solutions based on business requirements.
• Provide thought leadership in the SAP technical space working with Solution Architects, SAP Functional Team, Basis, Integration engineers, and business teams.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, readable, reusable, high performing and reliable code.
• Develop solutions with an understanding of large volume processes/processing and a deep understanding of performance impacts, best practices, and approaches.
• Execute workflow configuration, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Utilize knowledge of Deep IDOC, Interface, and EDI.
• Utilize knowledge of Articles, High volume SKU/Store transactions, Assortments, Price and Purchase orders in the SAP Retail environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer and Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of related, progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience managing the SAP Technical Implementation lifecycle including process analysis, design input, understanding of functional requirements, creation of technical specifications, code development, test script creation, unit testing, execution of code reviews, and documentation.
• Experience providing thought leadership in the SAP technical space working with Solution Architects, SAP Functional Team, Basis, Integration engineers, and business teams.
• Experience developing solutions with an understanding of large volume processes/processing and performance impacts.
• Knowledge of Articles, High volume SKU/Store transactions, Assortments, Price and Purchase orders in SAP Retail.
• Experience with S4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, Fiori, and UI (SAPUI5).

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a retail environment with SAP systems.
• Knowledge of workflow configuration and development tools.
• Experience working in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of related experience post-bachelor's degree.
• Experience with SAP technical lifecycle management.
