Key Responsibilities

Help build the next generation of systems behind Facebook's products, create web and/or mobile applications that reach over two billion people, and build high-volume servers to support content.
Harness passion for technology and graduate-level knowledge, and help build highly-scalable performant solutions.
Make use of graduate-level knowledge of algorithms and core computer science concepts and ability to apply knowledge to real world systems.
Without direct assistance, make the most of ability to recognize and match patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems and hone skill in making architectural decisions.
Employ deep knowledge in at least one area: data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human computer interaction.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Requires 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Analyze and implement large and complex enterprise grade software systems with high stability and performance requirements.
Analyze and debug large and complex enterprise software systems to discover, identify and improve potential/existing flaws.
Development of complex backend systems with a heterogeneous software technology stack, identify pros/cons of designs or technologies, and benchmark their performances.
Proficiency in various programming languages, including Golang and Python.
Leading, managing and delivering large software projects effectively, working with various teams & individual contributors with align goals and planned roadmaps for success.
Design and evaluate large software systems with complex requirements and considerations like performance, feasibility, stability, corner cases, failures modes, etc.
Designing and understanding distributed systems which have strong consistency and availability requirements.

Nice to Have
