Key Responsibilities

  • Scope, deliver, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure integrations with internal and external systems to enhance engineering, operational, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and the IT team to develop sustainable and scalable solution architecture, fault-tolerant integration applications, and efficient operation and monitoring solutions.
  • Participate in regular cross-functional internal reviews with team leaders to ensure program deliverables and milestones are well understood and schedules support customer requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system integrations and data usage.
  • Quickly develop a holistic understanding of the entire DAPS business enterprise, including workflows and systems intersecting sales, demand planning, operations, manufacturing, production, and quality.

Requirements

  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and securing RESTful, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs, including expertise in authentication (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT), authorization, input validation, and rate limiting.
  • Experience with application development using Python, JavaScript, Java, C, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with database modeling and SQL development for PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with CICD pipelines (e.g., Github, Gitlab), cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS), and Docker/Kubernetes environments.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, able to scope projects, meet deadlines, and work well in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a start-up, consulting, or high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of enterprise integration software (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and experience with software such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience interfacing with user groups in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance to understand system constraints.
  • Experience working with Microsoft tools like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, PowerBI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
