About the Role

Stytch is the most powerful identity platform built for developers—bringing together authentication, authorization, and fraud prevention into purpose-built APIs. The company aims to help engineering teams make their products enterprise-ready, AI agent-ready, and threat resistant. The role of a Senior Developer Relations Engineer involves creating developer-first content at scale across various channels, amplifying the developer brand, and becoming a recognizable expert within the developer ecosystem. This is a hybrid, full-time position based in the SF Bay Area, with a collaborative in-person component three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the creation of developer-first content at scale across written, video, and social channels.
Translate complex infrastructure and security topics into clear, actionable learning for developers through blog posts, code samples, documentation, example apps, videos, and other content formats.
Use AI tools to accelerate workflow, publish multiple articles per week, and develop tutorials based on real-time feedback.
Own the full content lifecycle from idea generation to launch and ongoing iteration, guided by data and developer input.
Experiment with new channels and formats such as Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, or emerging platforms where developers gather.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and marketers to shape content that supports product and go-to-market goals.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer education, developer advocacy, technical content, or engineering with a track record of high-output, high-quality work.
Full-stack fluency with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Go, Node, or similar stacks.
Deep developer empathy and ability to make identity and security topics approachable and engaging.
Bias toward action with a tendency to ship daily and iterate quickly.
Strategic use of AI tools and SEO insights to scale discoverability and performance.

Nice to Have

Experience creating content in multiple formats including written, video, and social media.
Familiarity with emerging developer platforms like Reddit, Discord, TikTok.
Experience in driving platform growth and increasing visibility in developer communities.

Qualifications

Formal experience or background in developer relations, engineering, or related fields.

Benefits & Perks

Expected base salary of $160,000-$220,000, not inclusive of full benefits.
Full benefits including equity, health care insurance, paid time off, parental leave, etc.
Hybrid work environment with in-person collaboration three days per week.
