Job Description

About the Role

The Software Engineer DevSecOps Support role at BAE Systems' Intelligence & Security Sector involves working across a multi-cloud environment to deliver and maintain cloud-based applications and solutions. The position includes supporting architecture development, integration, requirements analysis, security engineering, QA, and testing, contributing to a program that handles applications across multiple classification levels. This role is based in the NoVA area with flexible hours and offers an opportunity to work on innovative defense and security solutions within a leading defense company.

Key Responsibilities

Support the DevSecOps role to meet software application development and delivery requirements.
Assist the Scrum Master and Release Manager on service delivery release project teams for new vendor releases, features, service updates, and onboarding new CSPs.
Manage daily meetings and tasks to accomplish backlog, report and manage progress, cost, and schedule in coordination with Scrum Master, Release Manager, and IMS scheduler.
Support project plans and schedules, manage resources, track and report progress, and coordinate Sprints with the Release Manager.
Participate in post-Program Increment assessments to collect lessons learned and drive continuous service improvement and innovation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Ability to work 100% on site.
Experience in a DevSecOps support role supporting software application development and delivery.
Experience supporting Scrum teams and coordinating release activities.
Ability to manage project schedules, resources, and progress reporting.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree in a related field of study.
Experience in a SecDevOps multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
