About the Role

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking full-time Software Engineers to design, test, and deliver software UI/UX and backend solutions for complex digital ecosystem capabilities. The role involves developing features using DevSecOps tools and methodologies, communicating with internal and external customers, and working in a secure environment that requires a government security clearance. Key Responsibilities

Design, test, and deliver software UI/UX and backend solutions for complex digital ecosystem capabilities.
Develop and implement features and capabilities using DevSecOps tools and methodologies.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Write clean, scalable code using Java, Python, and other relevant languages.

Requirements

Experience or training with Java, Python, or other relevant coding languages.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.) and/or GitLab.
Experience with databases and/or UI/UX design and development.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance (Secret level).

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with a software development focus.
Familiarity with Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of IT system fundamentals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with software development, front-end technologies, and databases.
