Lockheed Martin Space in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will work in a team environment utilizing software methodologies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment utilizing software methodologies and processes.
  • Develop and implement software solutions using languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, XML, and scripting development.
  • Participate in system analysis, system design, software design, and software development activities.
  • Perform software testing to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Contribute to software configuration management and system administration tasks.

Requirements

  • Acceptable degree programs include Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, etc.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following software languages: Java, C++, C#.
  • Knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards, unit testing, configuration management, database, and system administration.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance (TS/SCI level).
  • Ability to work part-time remotely and at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

  • Familiarity with Agile Development Process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player with collaborative skills.
  • Results-oriented, creative thinker, and problem-solver.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a science or technology-related program such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.
