As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Develop Embedded Software for a Hardware-in-the-loop team
- Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
Requirements
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Engineering degree
- Active secret clearance
- C/C++ software development and Linux OS
- Real-time Embedded software development
- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience
- Familiarity with hardware interfaces, bus protocols, and analog/digital signaling
- Hands-on experience related to hardware testing
Nice to Have
- MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Engineering degree
- Experience with device driver and BSPs
- Experience with VxWorks, Concurrent HW
- Experience with FPGA logic circuit development and hardware/software integration
- Experience with Simulation Integration
- Experience with Python and Ada
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps (CI/CD)
