About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform applications development work assignments and troubleshoot problems for the entire life cycle of an application including analysis, coding, testing and documentation.
• Perform analysis, design modification and maintenance of application programs, integrated systems, and/or software solutions.
• Develop applications in compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
• Design, develop, and install software solutions for data systems.
• Evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions to determine operational feasibility.
• Study information needs, confer with users, and analyze systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop software solutions.
• Investigate problem areas and troubleshoot issues.
• Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.
• Conduct systems analysis and recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve operations.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues to provide relevant information.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of various programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, PHP).
• Firm understanding of Relational Databases (MySQL, SQL).
• Proficiency with tools such as Atlassian products, Jenkins, Selenium, Atom, and GitHub.
• Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Self-starting, independent critical thinker with the ability to solve challenging data management scenarios.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting multiple Software as a Service applications.
