Software Engineer II

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test front-end and back-end solutions using Java, Spring, and AWS.
• Plan, execute, and deliver complex software solutions while collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
• Provide technical design recommendations, promote best practices, and support CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, integrate components across teams, and ensure seamless product delivery.
• Apply agile methodologies to enhance development, coordination, and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience designing, developing and testing complex software including Java, Spring/SpringBoot, and microservices in AWS or cloud environments.
• Experience defining, designing, building, testing, documenting and supporting robust, scalable, reliable services including RESTful APIs.
• Computer Science or engineering understanding including object oriented analysis and design, data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and problem/solution fit.
• System lifecycle including DevOps, Security, CI/CD, CM, support, and best practices.
• Experience with container management like Docker, and service orchestration like Kubernetes and similar tools and technologies.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with graph databases, pub/sub, and event streaming technologies.
• AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

Nice to Have

• Wireless OSS / Inventory domain knowledge preferred.
