The Software Engineer II, Enrichments in Seattle, focuses on building advanced text analytics and natural language understanding solutions leveraging AI and ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, robust and performant front end and back end services to expand our text analytics capabilities.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of the feature you are working on, from ideation to development to delivery, working closely with product managers, user experience designers, and other engineers.
  • Drive new innovation by working closely with our Core ML and Applied Science engineering teams to bring cutting edge ML and LLM capabilities into our feature space.
  • Participate in design discussions, and establish and maintain best practices through code reviews.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design and architecture discussions, full stack development, and code reviews.
  • Take ownership of your feature, and drive its development and delivery, including operational excellence and quality improvements.
  • Influence the technical direction of the team and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with backend development in languages like Java, Javascript/Typescript, C#, Python, GoLang.
  • Full stack development experience, with skills such as expertise in Javascript/Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with different database technologies across SQL and NoSQL options, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based development on platforms such as AWS.
  • Experience with professional software engineering practices such as unit testing, code reviews, writing design documents.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or suitable industry experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with LLMs and AI capabilities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing natural language understanding solutions.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and related deployment technologies.
