Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate & innovate: Work closely with your agile team members to build and configure software solutions that meet our high standards.
  • Ensure our software is top-notch by leveraging unit testing and continuous integration.
  • Participate in estimating the work required to deliver exciting new features.
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for applications.
  • Communicate daily with the Scrum Master or Team Lead and the Agile team on progress and impediments.
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint retrospectives; contribute ideas for team improvement.
  • Focus on delivering business priority and value at all times.
  • Ensure the quality of features through manual and automated testing and continuous integration.
  • Design solutions in alignment with company architecture and standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and UX designers to understand requirements and translate designs into working solutions.
  • Work with Test Engineers to ensure software meets the definition of done and transitions smoothly through production stages.
  • Automate testing to ensure high-quality application delivery.
  • Participate in daily standups, outline progress, and identify impediments.
  • Think with the end customer in mind to improve customer experience and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, preferably mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in React Native and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, React Navigation).
  • Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React concepts.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs or third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode, Android Studio, or Gradle.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes including GitHub actions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent relevant business experience.

  • Proven track record of delivering apps to production on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React concepts.
  • Strong focus on quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes including GitHub actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent relevant business experience.
