About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, understand, and run the interactive and non-interactive OpenXR conformance test suite.
• Capture results and logs of conformance tests for team metrics.
• Make changes to the C++/Java runtime implementation to fix conformance failures.
• Triage incoming conformance failure results from external QA teams.
• Develop improvements to the conformance testing process, update documentation, and work with QA teams.

Requirements

• Prior experience developing Android applications using NDK and C++.
• Expected to navigate complex codebases.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make system changes as needed.

Nice to Have

• Some experience in developing graphical OpenGL and/or Vulkan applications for VR environments using APIs such as OpenXR.
• Working with automated testing systems.
• Working with QA teams.
