Software Engineer III, Engineering Productivity, Pixel AI Applications

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cutting-edge test infrastructure across Pixel devices.
• Empower developer and test engineer productivity by contributing to test infrastructure and tooling resources and streamlining testing workflows.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven test automation through developing AI-powered tools and utilizing AI-driven analytics to provide valuable insights into software quality and performance.
• Contribute to software development cycle improvements by advocating for testing best practices, identifying areas of technical improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into all phases of the software development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
• 2 years of software system test engineering experience testing mobile and cloud-connected devices.
• 1 year of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in computer science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, data science and engineering or other related technical field.
• Solid understanding of Bluetooth Classic and LE audio, protocols, pairing processes, and common connectivity issues.

Qualifications

• Educational background includes at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with software development, developer tools, and testing mobile and cloud-connected devices.
• Experience with AI or ML product development or launch.

Benefits & Perks

• US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
• Additional benefits include bonus, equity, and other perks as part of the compensation package.
