The role requires being local to Atlanta, GA, and adhering to our Return To Office (RTO) / weekly onsite requirements (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship, including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack.
Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.
Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality.
Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.
Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Equifax Solutions.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, and RESTful API design.
Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, distributed systems, and inter-service communication protocols.
Deep knowledge and practical experience with caching solutions, including Redis.
Experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
Hands-on experience with SonarQube for code quality and Fortify on Demand (FoD) for application security analysis.
Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Design, implement, support cloud-native applications on platforms such as Google Cloud and AWS.

Nice to Have

Experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
Leverage advanced cloud services like BigQuery, Bigtable, Pub/Sub, SQS, Event Bridge, GKE/EKS for delivery/Support.
