Meta is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Create AIs team to build products using Large Language Models (LLM).

Key Responsibilities

Build products using Large Language Models (LLM) as part of the Create AIs team.
Apply expertise in NLP and large model training to develop innovative AI solutions.
Contribute to the development and evaluation of language models, including multilingual and multimodal modeling.
Participate in producing and applying new scientific research to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with degree completed prior to joining Meta.
Experience holding an industry, faculty, or government researcher position.
Experience developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in Python.
Experience writing software and executing complex experiments involving large AI models and datasets.
A PhD in AI, computer science, data science, or related technical fields.
Direct experience in generative AI and LLM research.
First author publications at peer-reviewed AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV, ACL).

Nice to Have

Recognition as an expert in NLP.
Experience in areas like reinforcement learning, LLM alignment, explainable AI, language model evaluation, multilingual and multimodal modeling, and responsible data processing.
