As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Key Responsibilities

Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
Facilitates complex problem resolution.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
No required certification(s).

Nice to Have

Experience with application development and design
Knowledge of business management and customer solutions
Experience with group problem solving and process improvements
Familiarity with release management, UX design, and software solutions
Understanding of application delivery process, architecture, and system development life cycle
Technical troubleshooting skills
