Software Engineer Manager - (Chat & Messaging)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and participates in knowledge sharing and contributes to the overall growth of the End User Collaboration community.
• Participates in product scoping, discovery, framing, and inceptions, providing technical input and translating user features into system design.
• Assists Digital Product Manager and participates in retrospectives, encouraging feedback with empathy.
• Leads the effort of shaping the architecture and design of the End User Messaging digital product.
• Leads and participates in inceptions and iteration planning meetings, infusing backlogs with technical input in partnership with the Digital Product Manager.
• Leads and participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups.
• Serves as the technical leader of the team, guiding technology choices, solving technical problems, and resolving conflicts.
• Establishes continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
• Leads collaboration and strategy alignment across product portfolios with stakeholders and peers.
• Serves as an expert on multiple business domains and technology stacks, sharing knowledge across organizations.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in relevant fields.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-level messaging and cloud software/SaaS solutions such as Microsoft Exchange, M365 Exchange Online, Defender for Office, Proofpoint, Valimail, RightFax, and Quest on Demand.
• Experience with enterprise-level archiving and compliance software like ZL Unified Archive, 17A-4, and Microsoft Purview eDiscovery.
• Designing large enterprise-level solutions based on technical, application, and business requirements.
• Knowledge to develop and execute complex deployment scenarios.
• Consulting experience supporting hybrid messaging platform solutions and platform rationalization.
• Extensive experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of MS security practices such as Patch Management.
• Ability to write technical and support documentation.
• Skills in Active Directory, AD FS, Azure AD, DNS, firewalls, Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Graph, Outlook, troubleshooting, VPNs, and related technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Amazon SES.
• Knowledge of Business Processes.
• Familiarity with Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).

Qualifications

• A 4-year Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation range of $112,000.00 - $196,750.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Background investigation required.
