Software Engineer, New Grad

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build software at scale to transform how organizations use data, contributing high-quality code to products like Palantir Gotham, Apollo, or Foundry.
• Participate throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and shipping.
• Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand customer problems and develop solutions.
• Meet with users, such as research scientists or analysts, to better understand their needs and challenges.
• Follow SWE principles including ownership of projects, collaboration across diverse teams, and building trust within the team.

Requirements

• Engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
• Experience coding in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Ability to write clean, effective code and learn new languages quickly.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source technologies like Cassandra, Spark, Elasticsearch, React, and Redux.
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast-evolving software environment.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
