Key Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Java.
Collaborate within an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality products.
Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deploy and manage applications.
Apply problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

Solid academic foundation in computer science or a related technical field.
Demonstrated programming proficiency in Java through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
Strong understanding of core computer science principles like data structures and algorithms.
Proven ability to solve problems and fundamental familiarity with data concepts.
Good communication skills and experience with version control systems like Git.
Eagerness to learn and work within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
2+ years of Java development experience.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals gained through hands-on experience in product delivery.

Nice to Have

Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
Familiarity with databases (both SQL and NoSQL).
Prior exposure to cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
Experience or coursework related to Python, AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
Practical experience using data processing libraries or tools.
Understanding of software testing principles.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Appreciation for the principles of Software Craftsmanship, focusing on quality, clean code, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
