About the Role

The Software Engineer Senior position at Lockheed Martin Space involves supporting the integration and testing of complex computer vision and AI/ML software applications within the ABI organization. The role focuses on developing and deploying mission-critical processing applications that deliver actionable intelligence, working within a high-performing, multi-discipline team throughout the software development lifecycle. The organization plays a vital role in providing intelligence solutions by optimizing satellite constellations, processing data, and developing infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with a high performing, multi-discipline team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Integrate development software into the unit under test for operational applications involving machine learning, data analytics at scale, and artificial intelligence.
Support the execution of large processing applications within the ABI organization.
Assist in developing state-of-the-art processing applications to deliver timely, actionable intelligence.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively.
Experience with an Object Oriented Programming language.
Experience in Java.
Experience in SQL, Hibernate/JPA.
Experience in REST.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice to Have

Docker, Kubernetes.
Agile Software Development experience.
Advanced skills in Bash, Python.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
Familiarity with Jenkins.
Familiarity with static code analysis tools (Fortify, SonarQube).
Advanced communication skills (internal & external).

Qualifications

Experience level: Experienced Professional.
Security clearance: TS/SCI.
