About the Role

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to deliver solutions. You will work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. This role involves identifying potential risks, contributing to solution development, and creating efficient and effective systems for clients, making a mission-forward impact and shaping systems for the better.

Key Responsibilities

Use architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to deliver solutions.
Work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites.
Ensure systems have consistent performance and scalability.
Identify potential risks and contribute to solution development.

Requirements

10+ years of experience with programming languages, including Java, Python, C, or C++.
Experience with containerization, such as Kubernetes or Docker.
Experience with Agile collaboration tools, such as Jira or Confluence.
Ability to deploy software in a Cloud environment.
Ability to work in an Agile, team-based environment.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.

Nice to Have

Experience with frontend and backend development.
Experience with Build Automation, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
Experience with software and system architecture.
Experience with physical or virtual networking.
